-Hello,
I visited Panera Bread, in Rockville Center today. I normally visit on Sundays, because Panera opens at 7am, and the Libraries open at 1pm. That is half the day for me. And I also subscribe to the"Sip Club." You can drink an unlimited amount for a fee. It is worth it if you visit 3 or4 times in a month. You get either " hot" or " cold" drink for that visit. This is the best value on the menu, as far as I am concerned.
Today's visit was another special. Panera is offering $1 cup of soup, when you purchase an entire. Saves me $6 for the soup, so I purchased the wild rice and chicken soup. I actually like this soup. And I got a chicken sandwich. See attached picture. The sandwich actually has a much longer name. But, since I am not a "foodie", I call it the basic name. Haha.
So, with the soup and sandwich, I got a small bag of chips and a baguette. 4 items for $
plus a tip. I consider the food here high quality, so I pay more.
I did have a problem ordering this on the app last week. I did not get a discount, so I did not order these items. I actually explained my dilemma to an employee, and then went back to my table. Believe it or not, the employee came over to my table a few minutes later. She explained to me that there are different sizes of soup on the app. I had to choose "cup" to get a discount. I was happy that she was proactive in this situation. By the way, the picture below shows only one half of the sandwich. Sorry, I already ate the other half. Then I decided to take a picture.
So, in terms of the rewards program, I will give them 4 stars for the rewards program. The app is not so user friendly. Infant one time previously, the app failed to change but location, and I ordered at another Panera. I did receive a credit at a later date. But, I was kind of sad at the time of ordering. The employee helping out proactively was a BIG help. Panera is kind of expensive, so the rewards program is critical to me visiting here.
