Meherrin Indian is my heritage. Footprints are how I make my way around our global community. Service and philanthropy mark my path.

Those words aren’t just a tagline — they’re the foundation everything I do is built on. The Meherrin name carries the weight of family, history, and a people whose presence on this land long predates the maps that came after them. Carrying that name forward means carrying a responsibility: to honor where I come from by how I show up for others.

“‘Footprints” is the part I get to write myself. Every place I go, every project I start, every person I have a chance to help. that’s a footprint. Some are small. Some ripple outward further than I’ll ever fully see. That ripple — like a stone dropped in still water, reaching circle after circle outward — is the image at the heart of everything connected to this name.

Service and philanthropy aren’t side projects for me. They’re the path itself. Whether that looks like supporting a local cause, mentoring someone starting out, or simply showing up consistently for the people and communities that matter — that’s the work. And it’s work I believe in doing in the open, so others can see it, join it, or be inspired to start their own.

That’s why this hub exists. Meherrin Footprints is where I’ll share the story behind the name, the causes and projects I’m putting energy into, and ways for you to get involved — whether that’s following along, contributing, or simply carrying the same spirit of service into your own corner of the world.
